WASPET CLOUD AND MEEP

Last night we had a shindig,
For waspet and cloud.
In the valley of the meld,
It was time for them to leave.

So we said our goodbyes,
Had some laughter and cries.
Before crawling back on cloud,
For one last night of sleep.

The firefly's they lite the sky,
Like fireworks of the night.
For tomorrow we leave this homely abode,
It was time for each of us to be off.

Didn't know what tomorrow may bring,
It was time to cut the apron strings.
With the anticipation of going travelling,
Not deaf or blind to the beauty of the world.

To go out to find the others of my kind,
Waking upon that fluffy little cloud.
There was no sorrow at the end of spring,
The flowers played a merry tune.

We each said our goodbyes to the fireflies,
Although I new it wasn't really goodbye.
We'll be seeing them sometimes,
The Cheeselets swooned at the flowers tune.

It was time for waspet to say goodbye,
So we waved our hands to the treacle mines.
As well as the flower mill as on our way we began,
To leave this valley of meld. This very
pleasant land, We said our final goodbyes.

Think I'll miss the Cheeselets the most,
Over the years they've been good to us.
Not as underlings but kindred friends,
One off the Cheeselets was making a fuss,
He had decided he wanted to come with us.

I said my goodbye to the boatman Beatle,
As he carried his motley crew across the lake.
Glancing back my heart did break,
As it still does to this veritable day.
Still waving goodbye at last we're on our way.

As for meep,
he couldn't understand the fuss.
Decided to curl back into a ball,
Then just went back to sleep.
