Regarding Linda
Her face is stern. It put me off for years. I saw no point
In drawing close to yet another person who would
Disapprove of me. In time we'd meet at break with
Others. I learned that the woman underneath that face,
Indeed, was stern, and generous with disapproval,
But she became fond of me. We're good friends now.
I see her daily, but I think that you'd be wise to exercise
Some caution when the two of you first meet.
