Isn't There Anything Else You Could Do?
You've picked the wrong person to bring you relief from your
Boredom, Joanne. I must tell you that. You'll never find
Anyone duller than I. I just finished breakfast. I'm washing
The plate. As soon as I'm finished, I'll go back to looking at
Pictures of Art Deco buildings in Paris. Later, I may do
A basket of laundry, and, afterward, iron, quite riveting
Things. I could scrub out the toilets or go fetch the mail,
But, before too much longer, I must take my nap. You're
Welcome to come if you have to get out, but you'll end
Up just watching me sleep.
