the sacred

The sacred is to honor the unknown—
to build it an altar,
light candles,
and pray fiercely that light might dawn from ignorance.

The sacred is to honor the ignorant who honor ignorance—
to cloak them in vestments,
let their prayers echo,
so hope might rise from the unlit dark.

J'aime beaucoup la façon que ceci est écrit... le thème de ce qui est sacré, comme tu sais, me passe par-dessus la tête, mais cela n'enlève pas que j'ai trouvé ton texte bien exprimé, il y a un air serein et sage qui en découle, je trouve... très joli, merci :)
