I had been listening rather intensively to Tony Mortimer and Julian Lennon's "Rain in England" and felt like writing an answer to this wonderful song...

Somedays

Somedays all I need to do
is to find that space
that makes my heart and its beating
fall in to place
those days I have to realize
that home is a place
deep inside
between a person's
shining eyes

I can see the stars in London
singing quietly
in the night

I can see the dreams of London
raining softly
in my eyes

Somedays all I need to do
is to take that deep look
into my heart and my memories
find that sweet place
lost in the water of the ages
lost behind the keel
but always
and always
in my heartbeat's
shining dreams

I can see the stars in London
talking softly
with Peter Pan

I can see the dreams of my blood
beating softly
in my heart

I can see the moon in London
singing softly
in my mind
