For the Pro

in maths
there are equations called paraboles
that one calls second degree
but in fact there is a method to find
x in a third degree equation

now my question is the following
in French, we can say deuxième and second
2th and second
but why there is not the same for
3
deuxième-seconde
troisième-?
is there deuxième in English ? or only second
bu there is no defined word to say the last three

it would be relevant in this third degree equation
since there are no more general methods
to find x for degrees beyond 3 and there is a
theorem that proves that beyond the third degree
in x, you can't find a general method to find the radicals
of this equation
