Meniscus Doesn’t Lie
They said I was half-full,
but the curve said otherwise—
a quiet swell
above the line.
I didn’t overflow.
I didn’t need to.
I held my shape
in tension.
Even the lab tech blinked,
uncertain if I’d been poured
or if I’d risen
on my own.
