Disconnected Thoughts

I hope that person dies,
Who caused you so much pain.

There’s glitter in your eyes
Where light is soon regained.

What did God say of lies?
Was Jesus ever sane?

Will temperatures still rise
If no human remains?

I know no cause of cries.
Save hours of love’s disdain.

There’s much to falsify
But life won’t be the same.

If ever time was right
Then we would have remained.

If ever I did sigh
It was because life’s strange.

To me this reads as a reflection on the effects of hurt and pain perhaps on the part of a loved one. This is a really difficult subject to write about and the use of the random thoughts in short stanzas is brilliant in this context. Nicely done. Blessings, Allen

well, yes what popped into my mind is the following

sometimes the disconnection can be in life and not in your own personal feelings about experiences you had
you didn't meet, you lack of knowledge so you had nothing to think about up, you could not make up the experience or the knowledge you failed to have

I hope you understood me a bit...
