Crawl
They run from me who hate my loveBut I’ve made sure they can’t run far
For I’ve made sure their ligaments
Are torn before they leave my car
Where I’ve made sure we’ve driven down
Dark paths where I’m the only light,
The only sight their eyes can see,
The only hope they’ll make it out
But if they run that certainty
Dwindles and if they don’t know it
I shout this out and watch them turn
And crawl back to accept my love.
