Book lovers

Here I am
ruminating
and i wonder
how do i decipher
the after taste
or should i coin a new word?

Possibly
i do enjoy the company
of fellow people
but not really
unless they have something
useful to say or contribute
or just generally add to the vibe.

So i must say
i prefer books to the people
unless ofcourse
they are readers, writers, reviewers
and book lovers
holding books in their hands.
