Circumstances Gone Wild
When I read in Deepak Chopra’s
SynchroDestiny,
and hear Anna moving about
on the ground floor,
I see in my mind’s eye
a being with a brain that shines,
star-strewn, full of stars
– and her body
as a technical miracle;
all functions functioning
and our “us” an ongoing result
of an endless chain of “coincidences”
in circumstances gone wild,
in all that is
It is calming
to live in a wonder
