If the world stopped

It should come,
As no surprise.
I wake at night,
Not sunrise. It's
Something I despise,
It's clear for all to see.
The world doesn't,
Revolve around me.
If the world suddenly stopped
Would I fly off.
I guess I probably would,
Not in the way I wished too.
Theirs a sadness in my heart,
A solitude I cannot explain.
But it's there just the same,
I'm surrounded by family;
All in separate rooms.
That includes my wife,
Is this really the way?
I wish to end my life.

I think I have a poetry twin nearby, lol, because....
Alan, I came here, I read....and it moved my spirit and provoked a desire to hug you.....too....and my spiritual sister beat me to it.
There is still much love in this world

Oh, Alan. Sending hugs. While I do not live in your particular situation, I have felt this exact way, grief from loss. I wish I had magic wand.
