WHAT IF?

What if God wasn't omnipotent,
Just because his life cycle was slow.
Living somewhere in the depths of space,
It made it seem as though it was so.

Or maybe God is creation itself,
Not just an omnipotent being.
But the whole universe, Forever
expanding beyond the barriers of space.

Then again what if mankind,
Invented time travel. Went back in time.
And accidentally killed God,
Would our time start to unravel.

And finally what if,
God was an atheist,
And didn't believe in him/herself
Would he/She dissappear in
a puff of smoke.

All excellent possibilities to ponder. I especially love the second stanza perhaps because I love looking up at the night sky. I really like this poem, Alan.

Sincerely,
Melinda
