A plane crash happened in my country late last year. I wrote this for the incident then the day before the first lady died.

A Nation Had Never Been So Still

A nation had never been so still
With the two colors that painted that day,
The red and black it was too much to cry
The shock Sunday was unexpected,
Might have changed the ambitions of the nation.

A nation had never been so still
That death could come that way was acceptable
But that death could come that way was unaccepted.
That death of an Amazon could strike a nation so hard
And followed by the sudden fall of an Eagle
Brought the nation peace and unity.

A nation had never been so still
As the citizens tired hard to endure the pain
My question was would this event be forgotten?
My answer was yes it would. It was a teaching but it has taught nobody.
Then nobody knew that another eagle would fall soon.
