where my voice came from
you knew
that it was my silence
That you would have to attune to
i tried to be brave,
as always
and you hear it
through and through
for our silences
resonate.
And you said it
in your ubiquitous cool,
Be in the present
and move towards the future.
And you said it with
so much stillness
borne in you
that all the empty spaces
were full and brimming
over once again.
