is time an illusion ?

If time is an illusion, how can logical reasoning still follow a chain of cause and consequence? A cause must come before its consequence in time.
My question is simple: if time is an illusion, what becomes of the logic of causality - of the chain from cause to consequence?

karma is about morality and morality depends on your beliefs but causes and consequences can be mechanical following the rules of physics, time is real like mechanic is real but if you say that time is unreal you must be more real than time to say that ?
what is more real than time that goes by? eternity when time is dead ? I don't think so

Perhaps that is only discernible as a 'rule' in the physical dimension where time exists? Another term for causality could be Karma. On the other hand we can ask ourselves what is the reason for causality? Learning? Blessings, Allen
