Visions of the Flesh
Free will is a compulsion
that concerns a minimality of what we are
We are automatons
to the same extent as dung beetles & Arctic terns,
but our flesh has the capacity to reflect
on a vanishingly small part
of its actions,
on which we base our entitlement –
and on the visions in this hall of laughing mirrors
we justify our hubris
