Sciaphobia- Fear of shadows.

When the sun is going down

I cannot bear to be outside

A fear that plagues me

Deep down inside

Watching behind myself

My heart skips a beat

Is there something chasing me?

I fall back in retreat

I feel so dizzy and hot

Turning around in circles

Trying to make sense of it all

Whenever I go, she goes

I move a hand,

And she moves her's as well

I try and run away

Yet

She always catches me

Go away, blasted

At some point all of us have been scared by our own shadow... especially at 2 years old!!!

How many Sciaphobs does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

I dunno, but this was really good. It made me laugh a little, but there was a slight hitch in my chest, a jump of terror so fine so intense...

Great, =)
