Emetophobia- Fear of vomiting

A thunderous heat in my stomach

Trickling up my throat

Gagging, and trying to stop

Afraid of what is to come...

I try calming it down

With a mint..it doesn't work

Please, hold it down

I try to think of something

Calming, like a beach

Or a nice, long drive

Nothing works

Please let it be quick

I am shaking

And the chills

Have overtaken me

I hate throwing up... its disgusting and makes me feel like icky and dirty... like I need to take a shower right now or else the earth should open up and swallow me... But fear? I dont think so...
