REPOST, I liked this one, and wanted to post it again!!

Absinthe is a green drink that has been consumed by people for centuries...it has an enlightening and hallucinating effect! I have never tried it, but am interested in it's history!!

Now this one made me smile...Shakespeare wrote...' Lovers, poets and madmen are, of imagination all compact...He meant that the lover, the poet and the madman only see what is within their imaginations and have no reasonable excuse for their actions.... Now; I do know that this drink was a favoured drink of the French in earler times, and was banned by the French government when it was decided that the drink caused madness...Three cheers for Absinthe, love, poetry and madness...for we poets thrive of imaginative insanity!...lol..Ron.
