My friend was fired from her job on her birthday. This was my wish for her.
More candle for you to blow out again
So many wishes will be made on it
Thousands of plans, plenty of hopes
Upon these candles will be made today
So many will gather
Good tidings will bring
Friends will flock around and sing
Songs of joy, songs of cheer
Family and loves ones blessing will give
Too much of fun, too much of laughter
Your beautiful face will glow and glitter
But to you my dear
Your heart is sad and heavily laden
In worry you dwell
I know that feeling
I have trodden those paths
And to you my friend this what I tell
Dwell in the Lord to his mercy turn
As god knows best, he puts you to the test
So take this day, as a work of god
For he loves you best
He gives you today, show him your trust
Nothing goes wrong, when you trust in the lord
Go forth today and face that future
A future of happiness
That the Lord has planned
Brush away the bitterness
That's nothing compared
To what is waiting for you
Beyond this land
There's a family for you
They are wanting you back
A special love is waiting too
So go on now
Go forth my friend
Reap those blessing
That's waiting for you

A special day for you todayMore candle for you to blow out again
