Ecstasy

It was late, October 31st,
The darkness clung to my body like leeches
A sense of evil drifted in the air
Whispers travelled at pace
I soon understood
Tonight it would happen

I soon regretted opening the door
Blood-stained eyes met mine
She panted deep breaths of a grudge
A graveyard of hate
Glimpse of hell flashed through my mind
I screamed and stumbled backwards

Her sinister cackle filled my head
Possessed with evil
She leaped forward
Her black nails dug viciously into my neck

I began to reel, choking with pain
Her body weakened, she released her grip
A mangled body of the young girl lay across the floor
The petals of life drifted away
She was dead
