Swanu 2

The oracle said so
On the cowry was it seen
A child is born
The dreadlocks and sacred marks of
"Swanu" he possess
The successor of the oracle
The birth of a butterfly

The white men says no
Evil they say it is
Hell they say we're destined for
The dreadlock of "Swanu" they cut
The sacred marks of "Swanu" they call birth mark
Our tribes' men they bribe with food
And lure into their church

Our shrine is empty
Where is "Swanu"?
Was he reborn?
Or was there a new birth?
