Deaf-mute (part II)

I thought what I'd do was,
I'd pretend to be one of those
Deaf-mutes.
Those are not my words,
But here is the truth.
No one knows who I am,
Not even myself.
If I became a deaf-mute,
I would be able to see clearly.
I could see my true friends,
See the people who believe in me.
Instead of hearing insults,
I would see the truth
And see people hiding
Behind social classes
Pretending to be something
They don't want to be.

i think there are many ways to strip down people's ways of looking. aye to showing somethign differing from everyday life, friends would certainly vanish. but that would be ok, for they wouldn't have been friends to begin with.
