from my book. its about the famous excuses i maake for being late to class. the teachers hate them because most of the time they're laughing to hard to send me to the office.


Forest In the middle of the hallway

The tardy bell rings
im late to class
i wasn't expecting to get lost
in the forest in the middle of the hallway
the trees
two stories tall
the streams
and the deer
finally
i find my way out
im late to class
5 minutes lat
i tell my teacher
that's no excuse
i shake my head
on my way to the pricipal's office
a grin on my face
i didn't expect to get lost agian
in the forest in the middle of the hallway
