The colors of despair

The colors
of despair are
spreading

In his soul

The paintings
becoming darker
every day

In his mind

The passion
for those dark
dreams of late

In his eyes

The artwork
obscure figures
dancing

In his chaos

There is nothing
to understand
yet everything

you got it, that is how it works when you paint. whether you meant this metaphorically or realistically - you nailed it.

Deep, dark and mysterious, but like the darkest hour before the brightest dawn.

I know this color, this palette, it is dark but what lies beneath the darkness are the wonderous colors of a rainbow. Sometimes it just takes a scapping away of that black shell to reveal the promises that are only just hidden. So well expressed J. E.

You describe the torment in the colors of an artists pallet so well. I would love you to visit my late husband artists site. It is on my page. I just wish he had gotten it out much earlier in his short life.

A wonderfully expressive poem. Despair is the darkest place, but there is light reflected in a friendly face and the person who loves you for everyone imo.

A must read text indeed,
