There's always a brighter day ahead!


Always Knowing

I remember my days of darkness,
for there have been many for me.
I remember when those days started,
they are days I would rather not see.
I know these days shall come and go,
from time to time darkness falls upon us all.
But the sun will also have its show,
its rays dominating as they fall.
I've heard that every dark night,
thereafter shall be a brighter day.
Well I'm going to enjoy every bit of that light,
because I know that it shall fade.
And when the skies take to rain,
and the storm seems to be at its very worst.
I'll be patiently be waiting for my brightness again,
always knowing that the sun shall have a turn.
