Dreams.

Do you believe in magic?
Do you believe in dreams?
And what about our nightmares?
Where only we can hear the screams
Are they memories beneath the surface
Are they the want for needful things?
Or are they visions of the future?
And all that it may bring
Are they a projection of someone elses past?
Miss-directed in the night
To settle on our wavelength
To fill us full of joy, or even fright
Or are they little jewels of hindsight?
Of things that may have been
Through fate or even circumstance
That by chance remained unseen
We may never know just what they are
Or even what they really mean
Just an empty canvas for the brain
To paint what is a dream.
