A Whisper Into The Air

A gentle whisper into the wind
Floating on an evening's gentle breeze
Softly spoken from a far away land
Sent only for you to receive

These whispers from so far away
Explain how I long to be there
Being able to have my feelings on display
But I am here just whispering in the air

I whisper into the wind
Then my whisper turns to a scream
Feeling defeated by this frustration
I am left begging on my knees

I scream so loud today
But my screams fall down on deaf ears
Relaying these feelings seems to be a task unlikely
I might as well just whisper into the air

Zoya Zaidi
Just whisper the word 'Love',
into the air,
And the wind will carry
your feelings
right through the sphere.
Your heart will go
a long way riding on the wind,
your whisper will
automatically enlarge into a scream...

((Hugs dear Steven for the original piece!)))
Love, Zoya
