This was written for my love, he is across the states, we finally got to talk to each other but for a month we had no way to contact each other. Now we can.
Longing for you(revised)
To spend some time alone with you,
We'd make sweet love all through the day,
Instead, I'm miles apart from you.
The days seems to get harder, now that we're apart,
It's just so hard when your away,
And you should know your always in my thoughts.
I can't stand that has to be this way,
I just want you here in my arms, to feel my heart.
To let you know it longs for you even though I'm not there.
Just to give you all my love, while we're apart,
And show how much I care.
So, if you're sitting there deep in thought,
Wondering, If my feelings are true, do I love you?
I'm wrapping my love up in a box,
And sending it off to you.
Forget the past with all its heartaches,
And all the bad thoughts stuck in your head,
Just learn to forgive before it's too late,
And think of our life and love instead.
