My Heart's A Storm

My heart feels nothing, heavy, hollow and incomplete.
I feel so empty, like something's missing.

Like being in a dark storm,
Where the clouds are my heart,
And the rain my tears;

Once in a while the sun will appear.
Make me feel peaceful for just a moment.
With puddles of happiness,
Only to be washed away,
By love's devastating heart break.

Then it starts to rain, faster and faster.
As emotions stir up and begin to swirl,
Causing chaos, confusion and hysteria.

The sun comes out to smile upon me,
Out of nowhere once again,
So beautiful and bright;
But only for a moment, as I think of you.

Wishing for the rain to stop and the pain to go away,
I feel empty like, something's missing.
My thoughts are in disarray.
I can't seem to focus,
I no longer care.

Yesterday's gone, I prey today will go away,
Not looking forward to tomorrow or any other day.
I'm just so tried now; I don't even want to think.
I'd rather lay here feeling incomplete.

Because, only when I was with you,
Did I feel complete, completely.
