Enigmatical preposterous statements

There must have been

an endless love story

that left its marks. . .

on the grounds of the fundament

the beginning of that endless love affair

created the double edged sword

and with a swing; the sword thrust the hourglass

 and pierced the burning heart.

As the time bleeds the heart heals its wounds

with fundaments healing power

- Justice - Balance. . .

And when the Time is healed

then and only then the burning heart

will be healed and  then. . .

The endless love story will come to an end

For better or for worse?

- Only time can tell how the matters of the heart will come to be. . .

But!

- Does time exist only in our mind?

- illūsiō impos animi(illusions of a weak mind),

mumbled the escapist as he turned the page

and stared at the void. . .

Yes,
Time is a question of our perception,
It is like the theory of relativity
Einstein once explained:
If you are waiting for your beloved,
then few minutes of time stretch to forever;
And if you are sitting on hot stove,
the few seconds never seem to end, ever;
But if you are on a rendezvous with your beloved,
Days just melt into hours and hours are gone in seconds,
Time just passes too quickly like a breeze of fresh air-
A fragrant waft of zephyr...
A moment of ecstasy is etched in our psyche forever...
A moment of agony never leaves our side, ever...

Time is a question of our perception
Now here; now gone forever!

(((Hugs for the inspirational and thought provoking piece)))
Please read my poem "TIME", I touch upon this concept there
Love, Zoya
PS Oops, it has become a poem of sorts, I think I should post it on my page...

thought-provoking and deeply philosophical. introspective too? self-examination is a skill every mind should possess.

Again Carmen, you set my mind to wander around the wonder of your poetry. The question is a brain stirrer for sure. I have read this 3 times and have comtemplated the question over and over often reaching different conclusions. Well written and beautifully constructed.

There is no doubt what so ever in my mind NSW, that love runs it's own course and as you so beautifully express in this charming little poem of loves journey, loves path is often a difficult and life changing one. We learn something every day with luck. Smiling at you, ~Tai

Individuality
that left it's marks. . . - its rather than it's as you are not saying it is.
heals it's wounds - the same would apply here.
we give a name to time but with or without us it will still exist and pass. a good poem.
