inspired by: REM's song - losing my religion.

Bleeding heart - lady of the forest- golden dragon

"That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion"

You placed your bleeding heart

in my hands, said the lady of the forest. . .

You asked me to heal your heart;

with the power of love. . .

A mind filled with lies

a body that is

in an illusion

The only truth, your only truth

is your heart. . .

And you gave it to me without asking

yourself. . .

Why do I want you to treasure my heart

. . .When my heart is bleeding?

This love. . .

Was it meant to be?

Was it meant for me?

Those questions would heal your heart

and you would be able to see

the truth through the lies of your mind. . .

But instead. . .You took your bleeding heart back

called me a deceitful angel and returned to your dark corner,

to your dark spot. . .

- You 've always been surrounded by the light, said the golden dragon and placed a white star on his forehead. . . to guide him through the darkness. . .

- Until it stops bleeding, he sighed. . .

- Until it stops bleeding, she said and smiled. . .

The lady of the forest left the room. . .the room of despair. . . and left the doors open - the doors of a forest life to all who wished to enter. . .

he start singing:

- Consider this
The hint of the century
Consider this
The slip that brought me
To my knees failed
What if all these fantasies
Come flailing around
Now I've said too much
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing

I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream

That was just a dream...

This was the song the song that got me hooked on R.E.M. and probably the reason why I live in Atlanta, less than a hour away from Athens. When you choose fear first, how can you ever truly love?

wow wonderful. I read it twice.

Dear Carmen,

This is Really WONDERFUL, I don't know how to explain my feelings about your splendid poem, it is just Great! You are very creative.Very perfectly written.

Now I'm singing the song;
life is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me....

and I think:
*Oh no, I've said too much
