Tonight

Tonight we sing sweet melodies,
Of once forgotten paths
To remember those who've gone away
And live there in the past.

Tonight we trust one another,
To talk to all our friends
To meet and greet with them all
Until the night should end.

Tonight we know it will be done,
For we are getting old
The stories left behind the lies
Will still be left untold.

Tonight we die beside the fire
With smiles on our faces
For even though we die tonight
Friends will see our faces.
