This is a poem i wrote to one of my ex-boyfriends after i'd dumped him, and i knew the truth, which was a hole other thing than what he told me...
But I couldn't see it in your eyes.
You had so many unbelievable stories,
And they gave me so many worries.
Everything you ever told me was a lie,
That your best friend got killed, and that you were gonna die.
I cried for you every day,
Cause I wanted you so bad to stay.
But love makes me blind,
I've really learned that this time.
This is such a shame,
Cause I'm the only one to blame.
I felt in love with you,
That was the dumbest thing I could do.
All my friends saw through your lies,
I didn't, even though you looked me in the eyes.
But that thing that I still put a lot of thought to,
Is that embarrassing thing that I really did love you...
