WORDLESS PLAINTS

It's no use testing blood
for asthmatic wheezing

dust of alienness
has thickened on my throat

patches in the x-ray
reveal I'm still foreign

I don't expect kind words
in my own country

my heart lacerates:
I cough wordless plaints

I don't know how it feels to feel foreign in your home, but I do know what right from wrong.

I DO know that not being accepted can hurt so much.

Good poetry, RK!

Wow! RK, You take words out of my mouth...
This helpless, hapless feeling,
Of being foreign in your own land,
I can very well understand...

I don't have to put myself in your shoes,
I AM in your shoes...

Bravo!!
Thanks a pile for sharing...
