e-lationship

what do I want?
another post from You
and another
and another
and another
because knowing You
through nothing more
than words on a screen
is so much better
than not knowing You at all
know what I mean?

Hahaha! Praise the elation, all ye troubled and hard working - the internet shall make thee free, give thee eternal Fee... i.e. if thee open up to mee! Love thy neighbor over the internet... ;-)

Great advertisement! But then, I am already a fan of thine. ;-D

Marvelously original and succinct love poem. The Internet and e-mail, etc., has sort of opened up new channels for communicating and for building relationships. Both opening and closing the poem with a question is a nice touch. Nicely done.

Quite the catchy title - a cute and enjoyable piece; a great ice-breaker to pull in new readers and potential fans; nicely done. --Joe

Oh my, another new word for Webster's 'e-lationships' - kind of a interesting play on 'elation' as well - was that intended??

I suppose I am going to be the first to disagree with the principle of this poem Rob! it would have been better with a final line, along the lines of,

is so much better
than not knowing you at all.

in my opinion, e-relationships are just one type amongst many in a lifetime, how we express ourselves in them, is just part of who we are. Some, find it easier to express in word, that is why they are poets and others like to read them, mainly because, they themselves find it difficult to express these deep emotions in their own lives and worlds. A very thought provoking poem and view though! smiling at your cyber face!lol Tai

Oh!Absolutely!(I just answered your question you know :D)
BTW. . .(yes I do know that people perceive and interpret things differently) but in my universe the words: an another one and another one and another one; always comes with the following answer: yes yes yes. . .that was a fine post! :D

But seriously this post is very honest, true, I really like it!*bookmarked*and*applause*

An interesting thought; tho' we know people present themselves behind false lines in cyberspace, as well.

However, among poets/writers - most seem to be true to who dwells inside. I feel a lot like you and am thankful to connect with my fellow poets here, as well Nettpoeten in Norway.
