Its a poem about how i'm scared to lose my penpal friend.
A dream of love and memories
Lost in a crystal sea
Was all that a friend of mine had once given to me.
Shallow waters hide my thoughts
Of sadness, jealousy and hurt
Because if I said them aloud then
I would lose a friend that was worth everything to me
And that would be the worst.
Dancing in the shadows
Singing in the rain
Have never ever given me pain
And the sad story that's never been told
How my future would leave me old lost and alone.
Now I continue to live in the present
And still my life is worth played
Hoping that my heart will beat out through
Golden, happy days.
