A little poem I wrote after realizing how often I made the same mistake again and again. The little hints to events in history and literature are intentional.
on a dry throat.
There we go again.
Moving on from now on
or was it done well once again?
History repeats itself.
We all look well.
Through the looking glass
of our remembered past.
We don't halt
on our own fault
when we notice it again.
Done well, heads up,
Hand claps collaps.
History comes back to us.
We keep looking through the glass.
Why don't we recognize
our long forgotten past?
"Deep Throat"
and a dry thought.
Done well on a bad dwell
or the perverted way to tell.
