A while ago a great friend of mine sent me a poem of a great poet of my friends country. Powerful writan with great power and passion. The poet was arrested , torched evencherly he was was shot. As many poets , folk singers and writers have been for all.
Their, agony and pain , they do their best in their worse to silence the
Poet's, all to offtan kill them , on some trumpet up charges some don't bother
evan with that,
While the poet breathed and he or she was free or imprison the poet was,
Is , dangerous to THEM, more dangerous than a gun or bomb , and THEY
Know that,
For YOU and YOUR kind , YOU apresers ,supresers, dictators,
So called democrats, elected according to your rules your not forgotan,
You make wars , invade country's , with lies on your lips , in your news,
Papers,T V radio's, spreading your lies, in the name of what you call democracy
Your democracy,
To pro-democracies , sending our young men and woman to die , to be maimed in
Body and mind , to inflict the same on others , from children to mothers
Fathers and all,
The ''other side'' , no better than you , each feeding of each outher's table,
It's us who pay the price for what lays upon THAT table that lays THAT feast,
'Tis the poet who expose you fore what you all are , 'tis the poet who warns.
People listen , at first just a few , the warning spreads the few become many,
Then you begin to worry , you try to first to ignore the poet , then you try to,
Slag the poet off , then you try bye the poet off , offer medals, titles,
Publishing Deals , lord the Poet , some it's true take the silver and gold , their,
Are others thankfully who don't sell out their spirit , souls , talent's , gifts, for,
Pots of your gold and silver ,
So you can have your barrels of oil , and your lust for power and control of and
Over us, and those you claim to be liberating.
The poet who keeps to his or hers integrity , knows what could happen to he
Or she , continues to write , some are imprisoned , often tourcherd , killed ,
Look back in history , Chile , Italy , Germany ,Iran , Iraq ,Britain , Ireland ,
Korea north and south , China , now embracing capitalism and giving
Tongue , Japan , soon to scrap it's law on being a pacifist state,
America, Spain , Australia, Turkey, Korear north and south , Africa both black
And white ,
China , Japan , Rushier , now and when soviet union , further back under the
Czars , Cuber Before Castro , and must be now not as bad , but still bad I have
To say , many I know are not menshond , add them your selfs , my dear reader
You may Know more than I , I have no dowte you do , no county has clean
Hands in history , Sweden supplyde armes to both Germany and Britain let
German soldiers travail thro to invade Denmark and Norway,
Switzerland , to supplyde food , arms , money , to Germany, lounderd money
And julery stolen from Jews, turnde Jewsish refuges back at it's bouder's
Bankers met their , German , British , American , Gennever , thro out world war

In Chile ,when Penachek took power , with U S support , their was a folk
Singer held in Sandeargo stadium , his name , Victor Jara , he plaid his
Guitar and sang to and with his fellow prisoners , the army thugs chopde off
His hands , he mealy grind , stood up , and conducted his fellow prisoners , as
They sang his poetry set to music , with the bloody stumps of his arms , so the
Army thugs , murderer's , then shot him , he died with a grin only victors can
Have.
Each time some one reads the poets work , then that poet lives once more
