Stronger

Built up so delicately

Just to be pushed down so violently

A prolonged river dance

On an already shredded heart

A chocked down tear

Seems to be nothing

When compared to the lake of blood

Pouring from a peirced mind

A quick trip down memeory lane

Then a push out the door

Walking down the raod with a limp

Recovery is only a miracleat this point

Just as you begin to think it is too far away

You're at it's door

I believe that even if you are young, you can be as strong as that with those who are old ones. Experience is the one that teaches us to be strong. Time heals the wound too. I would rather add that if you "conquer the weanesses of your strength, you will be the greatest warrior of all time". I guess I like the way you like your words. Kinda hyperbolic in nature. Keep up the good work!

Recovering from a heartbreaking loss is just as you described, but it is recovery in the end. It isn't death, though going through the process one often wishes for death to take the misery away. This is an awesome poem. You are awesome! Love you, Mammy

There is no harder bridge to cross then the one called the past. We have struggles that we can never really rid ourselves of. I understand the meaning of this poem. Thanks for writing it. : )
