George Best the football Icon
Has passed away today
To him came fame to early
And in youth was led astray

He played the game with all his heart
And had the world at his feet
The whole world then adored him
But the drink he could not beat

He lived life in the fast lane
As so many often do
But this led to addiction
And his fall would soon ensue

But his fans will not forget him
For although we know he's gone
In the halls of man. united
His ledgend still lives on.
