Dumpleweed Part 2

Is this a can I see before me

Shall I take it to my heart

No I think it might be baked beans

And they will make me fart

Though I'm sure you would not notice

In this lovely atmosphere

Of rotten eggs for breakfast

Passing wind fills us with cheer

My best friend is bacteria

So small he's hard to see

And he can do so many things

Thats why he works for me

He breaks down all the food we eat

So its soft and rather smelly

Then I can sleep all nice and warm

In some one else's welly

For I am the King of Dumpleweed

And live upon the tip

Where you may dump your rubbish

And I will thrive on it.

I love these. I would love to see these in book form. My grandchildren would love them too. : )

Lol... that does me a world of good. After learning to battle them bugs all day (and getting shot down once too often in the process), to see someone making that humorous is a treat.

Thanks for sharing!

I bet your grandchildren are howling with laughter Graham, children do so love poems like this - I know my sons would fall over laughing at the mere mention of 'fart' lol. Just read your other one and enjoyed a lot
