For my darling niece jina. get well soon. she is suffering from eye infection. she is the most annyoing and most lovely girl.

My Monster has Red Eyes

She was brought in front of me
Covered up with a pink blanket
Bundle of Joy
That's what her mother said

I looked at her
She was red
Eyes closed
No hairs
I wondered how she is a bundle of joy
For me, she was not less than a monster
I saw in horror movies
No, I couldn't hold her

As she grew
Her beauty bewitched me
She has big eyes like her mother
Long black hair
She started to call me
Ann...Anni...Attit...Aunty
Muna Auntyyyyyyyy...

Yesterday, I got a call from her school
"Jina is having headache"
I went rushing
And there she comes, my Monster, my little Devil
With red infected eyes.

What a wonderful and delightful poem to read :) I hope your niece soon recovers, eye infections are so horrible but they soon pass.

Kathy Lockhart
poor Jina. I know your TLC will help her heal.
Isn't amazing how those little wrinkled babies turn into such beautiful creatures. They have a way of capturing your heart and never letting it go.
This is a lovely poem for her. : )
