I am Sun

Rising up from the corner of east
Enlightening the snowcapped mountains
Giving life to the green fields
Spreading love to the flying eagles
Encouraging human
I am a new beginning

The Tika you put on your forehead
The Sindur you put in between your black hair
The ring on your finger
I am your faith

The color that runs in your vein
The color of heart
The color of affection
The color of rage
I am the symbol of your mortality

I am the Sun
Tutor of life and death
God of light and darkness.

(tika and sindur is a symbol of married woman in hindu religion)

Winston Latanafrancia Soldevilla
"OH MIGHTY SUN LEAD ME TO THE RIGHT PATH OF HOPE AND ETERNITY. OH MIGHTY SUN TEACH ME LIFE AND DEATH. TAKE ME OUT OF DARKNESS AND LEAD ME INTO LIGHT."

Great line of thoughts you got here:

"I am the Sun
Tutor of life and death
God of light and darkness."

I learned two important words this night "tika and sindur ".

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
