I REMEMBER WHEN........
Were are those who marchedfor this, against that
has the time passed under
Thatcher , since , under
Blear , now under Brown
shown that thees times are what
the masses wish others to live
caring nowt , not a thing about
no one but them selfs
the rich look down on the pore
the pore look down upon those porer
than they, feel good about it , laugh out
loud at them , say snide remarks
not knowing that in a day a week a month
some time soon they to will be down among dead
zombie like, looking threw dead eyes
harts and minds governed by spin , of media
spin of greed
people of my age and others older than me
now qulafi now as ''boring old farts''
''not worth a listen'' , '' stupid old fart''
when we open our mouthes express , treated as
if we have farted , poloting their environment
when we speck out , when we say '' I remember when........''
''.....when we marched behind our banners''.
now back to my original questan ,
''so where have all the marchers goon?''
''goon to be old farts every one''
now stab there former comraids , friends in the back
others who did not sale out , now savive as best they cam
now and again , say '' I remember when I were your age...........'''
