She is a liar

Early in the morning
She wakes him up
With a hot cup of coffee on her hand
'Good morning darling' she whispers

He wakes up
Without a smile, runs to bathroom
Oh! He is still mad, she thinks
He frequently does this, she remember

She recalls the gone days
The romantic memories are so vivid
The way he used to look at her has changed
Now she merely knows the person
Who sleeps beside her
Sometimes she doubts
if this is the person she fell in love with

Is there another woman in his life?
She questions her notion
But forces her to answer NO

Am I getting old?
She reaches for a mirror
Searches for wrinkles
She cries inside
But never believes she is younger than him

Everyday,
She looks for her fault
She blames herself
She curses herself
She lies to herself

Uma, i relate to this so well from a marriage of 32 years where i was constantly looking for what I did wrong, walking on egg shells, finding my faults and never ever fixing them to suit him. Then one day, I woke up from the stupor and left my biggest fault behind me. HIM! Well written piece. : )
