That Time Of Year

That time of years upon us
Jingle bells and christmas pud
Nice mince pies and brandy sauce
And every thing thats good

Christmas trees bedecked in gold
With tinsel bells and bits of blue
Chocolate bars and little stars
And crackers yes its true

There will be mistletoe and holly
Roast chestnuts in the fire
Carol singers by the window
And the local village choir

All these things and many more
To fill us up with cheer
And i will shed another tear
Because my daughter is not here.

Sometimes I feel that the inadequacy of this site with over 3,000 members is that good poetry with a message and feeling well constructed as is yours, is to time this day been read only 5 times, Graham their loss.
