INDIVIDUALITY
pride is not a pose
it comes from deep within
pride is like a rose
that grows in a dustbin
dignity is more
than bank accounts and style
i can trace it when
i' ve watched you for a while
in the midst of misery
some people maintain their dignity
they can still hold their heads up high
you can' t keep them down
no matter how hard you try
hail the beauty of personality
long live individuality
life is not a show
a catwalk to the moon
days just come and go
and the end comes much too soon
life comes out of love
heavenly, divine
live yours as you please
i' m busy living mine
i see strangers passing by
people under pressure
some with star potential
but who am i to measure?
glory days and summer skies
pride needs restoration
after all is said and done
each one is a sensation
