Shimmered

She knew she shouldn't swoon too soon.
She sloped off and showered
Singing about
Chocolate, cheese and wine and
French kisses.
As she towelled the wetness away
She wondered about her mirages
That were so hot they always shimmered.

She knows she will swoon to his tune
As she dresses herself completely
He will finger her shimmered notes
Tell her about her prose..

Kathy Lockhart
then hand her a rose...

oh this is wonderful. I love the developing story written with such a flair of internal rhymes, alliterations, and a rhythm that adds to the feel of her excitement. Oh not to forget the marvelous imagery! well done Linda.
